With more than 20 years of experience in the high-tech PR industry, Todd is considered by many to be one of the industry’s best writers, and a valuable collaborator to branding and messaging exercises. With a Master’s degree in communications, and a Bachelor’s in Information Systems, Todd brings an analytical approach, journalistic writing style, and extensive industry research to FIR’s clients.
Todd is the former director of worldwide communications for IONA Technologies, a Dublin-based provider of application integration technology. Prior to IONA, Todd ran the product PR efforts for Rational Software Corporation (an IBM company). He has accumulated years of agency experience with Lois Paul & Partners, working with start-ups, and industry leaders such as Lotus and Sybase. Throughout his career, Todd has managed PR agencies in the US, UK, France and Germany, and Todd has served as a mentor to dozens of PR and marketing professionals.
As FIR’s lead writer, Todd helps clients effectively position their corporate, product, partner and customer initiatives. His press releases, customer case studies, product brochure content, bylined articles, and Q&A/opinion pieces provide the foundation for FIR’s outreach campaigns.
Anna Byun is a Print & Web Designer with a clean, contemporary style, and an eye for detail. With over 13 years of experience working within corporate marketing and advertising agency settings, she utilizes her talent, computer skills, marketing experience and fine arts background to approach every design project with a unique creative vision.
Anna graduated with a degree in fine arts from Wellesley College and then moved on to take post-graduate courses at the Rhode Island School of Design, Anna began working as a designer for the Butcher Corporation, a subsidiary of S.C. Johnson & Sons. Her advertising, direct mail campaigns, brochures, and product packaging were considered by many to be among the best in the industry, and helped to reshape the public’s perception of the 100-year-old company.
In early 2002, Anna left corporate marketing to become the lead designer at a NH-based advertising agency where she conceptualized, designed, and produced a variety of print and website/multimedia deliverables. Recent projects include corporate identity, data sheets, brochures, advertising, direct mail pieces, trade show graphics, and website/GUI design, for high-tech, financial, business-to-business, and consumer marketing clients.
As Creative Director, Anna helps FIR’s clients communicate with their target audiences through visual mediums. She draws upon her marketing experience and analytic skills to develop a solid understanding of FIR’s clients’ target markets, and creates designs that “speak” directly to these audiences. She consistently delivers innovative, creative visual solutions that address marketing communication challenges.
Bill Kelly is an accomplished telecommunications marketing professional with nearly two decades of experience in the industry. Bill has extensive domestic and international business knowledge, with a proven reputation for building company awareness, product branding and establishing business and partner relationships with customers, complementary vendors, service providers, industry influencers and media in IP communications. Bill has held senior marketing and business development positions with industry leaders including Cantata Technologies, Excel Switching, Lucent Technologies, Rockwell International, Fibronics and Pulvermedia Inc.
With over eight years of promotional, marketing and public relations experience, Ally maintains numerous relationships with reporters and analysts-and she leverages these relationships to schedule media tours, and manage face-to-face briefings for FIR’s clients. Ally conducts extensive industry research and competitive analysis, which is used to create rapid response programs, and thought-leadership campaigns. Ally also manages the Speakers Bureau and Industry Award campaigns that are used extensively by FIR’s clients.
